This is not an event. And we are not event organisers

I believe that for the Unogwaja Challenge, union, giving and involvement are indispensable conditions to carry out the journey. Once we are part of a chain all the links have the same importance, otherwise the whole process is not possible. I understand that besides anyone has it’s own support, all the members of Unogwaja Team will be responsible one for each other and two for the challenge as a whole.

How do you think you will deal with adversity or things that don’t meet with your expectations?

Because I am a positive person, every time I face adversities, even getting little nervous, I always think that we solve everything with affection, love and a big deep breath. One of my characteristics is to be calm. I believe I am strong enough to support pain and difficulties. I think that my mind is stronger then my body and I always push over my capacities. When in group, I try to put myself in the others people’s place and I try to find a solution.

Why I am ready for The Unogwaja Challenge 2017:

I am a runner for seven years now, I ran eight marathons and seven ultra marathons. Besides the two Comrades. I normally follow training programs seriously and I am very disciplined. I started to cycle two years ago.

01 Jun 2017WiseyR420A donation from an incredible family. This is nearly R5,000 split evenly between you all. It is important to split this amount evenly between each of you, because each of you as a team have inspired this donation. The family donating are Rich and Kylie and their two daughters from Australia, they have avidly followed the story of Unogwaja over the last three years and given over R25,000 to date. It is a testament to Unogwaja 2017's ability to inspire. Keep charging legends!!
