The start of the Unogwaja Challenge is getting closer, 39 Days till we start this epic journey.

Thank you for your support in my fundraising efforts, its hugely appreciated.

I had the great opportunity of meeting the team from Community Chest last Friday. (Even managed to kit them out in some red socks!!).

This is the charity I am raising funds for and ultimately where your money will be going.

It was a great day and I was blown away by the projects they support. In total they support over 70 projects. I only managed to see three.

1. Durban Mental Health Society, Challenge Workshop, Sherwood:

Challenge is a facility offering sheltered employment to the mentally challenged. Building Bricks and packaging.

2. AH Zulu Educare Centre, Chesterville:

A crèche in Chesterville – That looks after 100+ kids. These kids were bright, cheery and full of ShoOops!

3. Whizz Kids, Pinetown:

Whizz kids is a school for the seriously mentally challenged.

It was a really rewarding day and feel inspired to raise as much money for the Community Chest to support the great work they are doing.
